| Mentira o verdad? |

La verdad trae consigo la energía del amor, la mentira sostiene la del miedo. Si lo tenemos claro, y queremos avanzar en una relación amorosa, no daremos lugar a ninguna mentira, incluso la que creamos conveniente y le demos forma de secreto.
Hemos asumido que la mentira puede darnos alguna ganancia, por eso mentimos. Y pensamos que podremos conservar o recibir más amor si las usamos.
De niños, hemos visto como los mayores se protegían diciendo mentiras y muchas veces nos han autorizado a las famosas mentiras piadosas, que las incorporamos como un elemento constructivo para nuestra vida, como una forma de protegernos. Y esto no es necesariamente así.
Es cierto, las mentiras nos ayudan a mantener provisoriamente el control, pero tarde o temprano aparece la verdad y como un tsunami se lleva todo lo que habíamos creado.
O para mantenerla, la seguimos alimentando con el miedo que termina por intoxicarnos las emociones y el cuerpo hasta enfermarnos.
Cuando decimos una mentira, siempre estamos ocultando el miedo de ver la verdad. Y enfrentar esa verdad nos libera del miedo.
Lo que guardamos por miedo, termina por envenenarnos.
Cuando antes podamos expresarlo, más rápido nos liberaremos del miedo que esa historia nos trae. Muchas veces, solo estamos manteniendo una mentira que hemos creído verdad sobre nosotros mismos y el guardarla como secreto solo la alimentamos. Al expresarla, le ponemos luz y nos damos cuenta de la verdad.
Cuando escucho las quejas que se hacen en las parejas, una de las que más se repite es la pérdida de confi anza. Esconder información que consideramos de poca importancia como dinero, salud o problemas en relaciones familiares, también amenazan las relaciones. Muchas veces, incluso luego de una separación, hay parejas que mantienen las heridas abiertas por lo que no se dijo en su momento o no se dijo nunca.
Aunque hayamos aprendido que la verdad puede traernos más problemas, que es mejor no decirla o alcanza con disfrazarla, lo cierto es que la verdad, porque es amor, sana cualquier herida.
Por eso, busca la manera más amorosa de hablar de lo que te preocupa, de lo que no te gusta o de lo que no se siente bien. Pero exprésala. Y cuanto antes, mejor.
